Privacy Policy

Overview
SlideQC is a Google Slides™ add-on developed by Nick Jasset. We process your presentation data only when you use the add-on, and only to provide the features you request (style auditing and replacement).
What Google User Data We Collect
When you use SlideQC, we collect and access the following data from your Google Slides™ presentations:
- Text content and text styling properties (fonts, font sizes, text colors, bold, italic, underline)
- Shape properties (fill colors, border colors, border styles)
- Line and connector properties (colors, styles)
- Background colors and styles
- Presentation structure (slides, elements, layouts)
We do not collect any personal information beyond what is necessary to authenticate your Google account to access your presentations.
How We Use Google User Data
We use the data collected from your Google Slides™ presentations exclusively to:
- Display an audit of fonts and colors used throughout your presentation
- Enable you to search and filter style elements
- Apply bulk style replacements when you request them
- Provide the core functionality of the SlideQC add-on
We do not use your Google user data for any other purposes, including:
- Targeted advertising, personalized advertising, retargeted advertising, or interest-based advertising
- Training AI or machine learning models
- Creating databases for purposes other than providing the add-on functionality
- Determining credit-worthiness or lending purposes
How We Share, Transfer, or Disclose Google User Data
We do not sell, share, transfer, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties. Your presentation data is processed entirely within Google's infrastructure using Google Apps Script and is never transmitted to external servers or services.
We do not provide your data to:
- Data brokers or information resellers
- Advertising networks
- Analytics services
- Any other third-party services
Data Storage and Protection
SlideQC processes your presentation data in real-time and does not store it on any servers. All data processing occurs within your browser session and Google's secure infrastructure.
Security measures in place include:
- All data processing occurs within Google's secure Apps Script environment
- We use OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication
- We request only the minimum necessary scopes to provide the add-on functionality
- No presentation data is transmitted outside of Google's infrastructure
- No persistent storage of your presentation content
Data Retention and Deletion
SlideQC does not retain or store your presentation data. All data is processed in real-time during your active session and is immediately discarded when you close the add-on.
Because we do not store your data:
- There is no data retention period
- No data deletion is necessary
- Your presentation data exists only in your Google account
You can revoke SlideQC's access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account Permissions page and removing SlideQC from the list of connected apps.
Google APIs and Services
SlideQC uses the Google Slides API™ to read and modify your presentations. Google's Privacy Policy applies to your use of Google services. SlideQC's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
